Olivia's Preschool Graduation

Our oldest kiddo graduated from preschool on Thursday! It was the cutest program where the kids sang and each said a part and told their favorite part of the year.  They put on graduation caps and each also got a diploma.  Livi said her part perfectly without any prompts (she's such a wiz at memorization) "Don't give up, I believe in you all, a person's a person no matter how small!" The program was Dr. Seuss themed.... and now on to Kindergarten prep!  Liv already knows her colors, shapes, letters and numbers and is starting to spell things out on paper but needs to memorize her phone number and address (something her Kindergarten welcome paper lists as a requirement).  Liv has been going to speech therapy at her new elementary school for the past few months and is so excited to be going there for Kindergarten (although I haven't broken the sad news to her that she will not be eating lunch there, as she has been watching the kids eat through the cafeteria window and looking forward to it).  She has had a hard time with a classroom setting in preschool.  Sitting still is not really her forte. I'm hoping Liv will be a little easier to get to school each day and look forward to it more in Kindergarten where she may be a little more challenged in class.  Either way, on to a summer of play and relaxing!

After graduation Liv picked lunch at her current favorite place, Red Robin.
